Corporation of Chennai to conduct property-tax camp on Saturday
Corporation of Chennai will conduct special camps across the city to bring un-assessed properties and those which are pending assessment within the ambit of property tax. People can visit special camps at the respective zonal offices to update property tax records on Saturdays.
The camps will be held between 10am and 5:45pm. �Citizens can lodge grievances pertaining to pending property mutations, legal cases, revision petitions, new assessment of properties and any other tax related matters in the special camps,� said an official. The corporation has urged citizens to pay the property tax immediately with arrears, if any, as the tax for the first quarter of 2014-15 is already overdue.
