Welcoming the Month of Margazhi - “Andal Dance” of 100 students in Chennai

In order to welcome the month of Margazhi, 100 Bharatanatyam girls participated in Andal Walk Dance in T. Nagar, Chennai. This event was conducted by Chennai, “Shree Nirthaya Priya KalaiKovil” and Madurai, “Madurai Barathy Yugavendra” institutes.
To participate in this event, about 100 Bharatanatyam learning students with the age amidst 5 to 10 arrived with the Andal dress. As to heartily welcoming the month of Margazhi, the students danced for various famous Andal songs. The parents of all the dancing students were also actively participated in the festival and encouraged the dance program. The dance program for small girls attracted the spectators.
