Online payment mandatory for applying visas: British High Commission
The British High Commission said starting December 16, all visa applicants in India who are making a new application would have to pay their visa fees online via Visa or MasterCard debit or credit cards or via e-wallet (PayPal or Skrill).
Other methods of payment, including payment at the visa application centre, would be discontinued from December 16.The visa application centres would not accept the visa fees either in cash or demand draft.Those who have completed their online application form prior to December 16 would still be able to use other payment methods currently available until January 14. From January 14, 2014, we will only accept visa applications with online payment, the release said.
