School education department has mentioned that all the school premises and surroundings in Tamilnadu should be kept clean in order to avoid Dengue and viral fever.
The school education department in its circular to the principals mentioned, All the schools should take care that the water does not stagnate as the rainy seasons have started. Appropriate action should be taken to cover the drinking water and sewerage tanks. Also action should be taken to keep the school premises toilets clean. Awareness on how mosquitoes spread Dengue, Chikungunya, Malaria and other viral fevers and the ways to prevent it should be explained to students.
