Christmas celebrations in Chennai today!!

From yesterday night 24th December till today early morning 25th December, special services were held in many Churches in Chennai. Many people took part in them wearing new clothes etc and celebrated Christmas. The Christmas festival is being celebrated with lots of happiness and enthusiasm across TN today is well known.
To commemorate the birth of baby Jesus in the hut, Christmas huts were erected in many catholic churches across Chennai and in TN. The churches were decorated with coloured lights. It must be noted that after the completion of special services many people shook hands with each other and exchanged greetings and happiness etc.
At the highly popular Santhome church in Chennai, Archbishop George Antonysamy Archdiocese of Madras Mylapore conducted midnight Christmas mass.
In the same manner, midnight Christmas services were held in other important churches like Besant Nagar based Shrine Velankanni church, Mylapore Luz church, Royapettak Kannikai Annai Alayam, Egmore Thiru Iruthaya Andavar church, Pudupet based Punitha Anthoniyar church, Chennai Parry`s based St Mary`s Co-Cathedral church, Perambur based Lourde Mary church etc.
