Deepavali Travel Advisory: Omnibuses from Koyambedu Alter Routes, Bypassing Tambaram and Perungalathur

The All Omnibuses Owners` Association has issued a notification, stating that omnibuses departing from Koyambedu during the Deepavali Festival on November 9th, 10th, and 11th will not pass through Tambaram and Perungalathur. According to President A. Anbazhagan:
"On the mentioned dates, omnibuses heading to various destinations in Tamil Nadu via Chengalpattu will follow a route from Koyambedu through Nasarathpettai and Outer Ring Road to reach the Kilambakkam Temporary Bus Terminus. Passengers are advised to board either at Koyambedu or the temporary Kilambakkam Bus Terminus.
During November 9th, 10th, and 11th, omnibuses will not traverse the inner areas of Chennai Metro City, specifically Vadapalani, Tambaram, and Perungalathur. Travelers using East Coast Road routes can expect normal operations along the regular route.
