Chennai and Multiple Districts Declare School Closures Amid Heavy Rainfall

In response to the relentless downpour, schools in Chennai have been directed to remain closed today, as announced by the District Collector.
Additionally, as a precautionary measure in light of the heavy rain warnings, District Collectors have issued orders declaring school holidays in seven districts. The affected areas include Dindigul, Kanyakumari, Nellai, Madurai, Tenkasi, and Theni, where only schools will remain shut. Furthermore, the District Collector has issued an order declaring both school and college closures for the day in the Mayiladuthurai district.
