South Central Railway Alters Train Services Due to Corridor Block in Vijayawada Division

The South Central Railway has announced changes to its train services owing to a corridor block in the Vijayawada Division from August 28th to September 3rd, 2023. The following modifications will be implemented:
Cancellation of Train Services:
1. Train No. 17237 Bitragunta – Dr MGR Chennai Central Express, departing from Bitragunta at 04.45 hrs between August 28th and September 1st, 2023, will be fully canceled.
2. Train No. 17238 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Bitragunta Express, departing from Dr MGR Chennai Central at 16.30 hrs between August 28th and September 1st, 2023, will be fully canceled.
Diversion of Train Services:
1. Train No. 13351 Dhanbad – Alappuzha Express, departing from Dhanbad at 11.35 hrs on August 29th, September 1st, and September 2nd, 2023, will be diverted to operate via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram, Gudivada, and Vijayawada, bypassing stops at Tadepalligudem and Eluru.
2. Train No. 12835 Hatia – SMVT Bengaluru Superfast Express (Via Katpadi, Jolarpettai), departing from Hatia at 18.25 hrs on August 29th, 2023, will also be diverted via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram, Gudivada, and Vijayawada.
3. Train No. 18637 Hatia – SMVT Bengaluru Express (via Katpadi, Jolarpettai), departing from Hatia at 18.25 hrs on September 2nd, 2023, will follow the diversion route via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, and Vijayawada.
