Prospects for medium rain in Tamil Nadu until the 22nd of August!

In a notification released by the Director of the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre, Pa. Senthamaraikkanna, the following information was provided:
"Due to the phenomenon of changing speeds of westerly winds blowing towards Tamil Nadu, there are prospects for mild to medium rain with lightning and thunder in 1 or 2 places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry (starting from yesterday, Friday, 18th August). Similarly, there are prospects for mild to medium rain in 1 or 2 places today (Saturday, 19th August) and on 23rd August. Furthermore, there are prospects for mild to medium rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on the 21st and 22nd of August.
The maximum temperature recorded yesterday (18th August) in Tamil Nadu was 99-102 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperature may be 7 degrees Fahrenheit higher than normal.
Regarding the Chennai Metro City and its suburbs, the sky will remain somewhat cloudy in the next 48 hours. There are prospects for mild to medium rain with lightning and thunder in a few places in the city. The maximum temperature will be 99 degrees Fahrenheit, and the minimum temperature will be 79 degrees Fahrenheit.
The maximum rainfall recorded as of 8.30 AM in the last 24 hours until the day before yesterday is as follows: Thiruvallur District Oothukkottai - 6 cm, Thiruthani - 6 cm, Ponneri - 4 cm, R K Pettai, Thiruvallur, and Kathivakkam - 3 cm each.
Warning to fishermen:
Due to high-speed winds at 45-55 kmph, intermittently reaching 65 kmph, in the South Tamil Nadu coastal areas, Bay of Mannar, and the adjacent Kanyakumari Ocean today (Saturday, 19th August) and tomorrow (Sunday, 20th August), fishermen are warned NOT to venture into the sea.
The cyclonic system that developed northwest of the Bay of Bengal has transformed into a depression zone. As a result, there are prospects for medium rain in the Northeast Bay of Bengal region. Additionally, there are prospects for medium rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on the 22nd of August."
