Chennai to have a good rain

For the last few days Chennaites were experiencing a hot and humid climate. Now the weatherman’s report brings a slight solace to the city people. Weatherman’s report says that dark clouds that covered the city on Monday evening will shower a good amount of rain. These clouds have formed due to convection activity. It is expected that there will be rain in Chennai for the next two days.
The clouds had also brought down the temperature a degree below normal on Monday. The Nungambakkam Met centre recorded 33.4C, but the afternoon was sultry, with relative humidity increasing to 74%.
