Great news!! Final year students in TN could earn money while studying!!

The Directorate of Technical Education or DOTE would be launching an earn while you learn or EWL programme or scheme for the final year students studying in various polytechnics across Tamil Nadu. By this scheme, the students would be able to acquire hands-on skills plus would be able to earn money also.
Tie up with Tata Electronics:
For this sensational programme the TN govt has decided to associate with Tata Electronics. This programme would be launched in the polytechnic colleges in Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri districts in TN from the coming academic year onwards. This was according to an office from DOTE.
The official explained that this programme would enable the students to know their career prospects, get job skills, cultivate social skills, increase their employment chances etc.
After holding discussions with the academicians and representatives of the industries, programme duration and curriculum details etc would be decided. He concluded that the amount of money the students would be able to earn would be finalised after a meeting with the Tata Electronics company.
Financial issues would not be an obstacle for continuing education with this earn while you learn programme. The students would get highly motivated by this superb scheme. In the neighbouring state of Kerala this scheme has been implemented already.
