Chennai Metro Rail New plan: a special exclusive link transport for women, operated by women!

There is welcome news that there has been an increasing trend in the number of passengers availing Chennai Metro Rail travel. It facilitates comfortable travel without any traffic congestion, enabling passengers to move quickly and comfortably.
Between 2.10 Lakhs and 2.30 Lakhs passengers undertake daily Metro travel. Therefore, several initiatives have been taken to increase the number of Chennai Metro Rail passengers.
As a part of this project, activities have been undertaken to provide link transport from Chennai Metro Rail stations to specific locations.
As an extension, considering the security aspect for women, the link facility transport will be operated only by women.
