Booking for the new Vande Bharat superfast Express commences! - Chennai-Coimbatore - booked for a week!

With reservations for the Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Superfast Express having commenced, ticket bookings are full for a week until 16th April!
On Saturday (8th April), Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Vande Bharat Superfast Express Train between Chennai and Coimbatore. This is the first Vande Bharat Superfast train to operate within the state of Tamil Nadu.
The train operates six days a week, except on Wednesdays, and has seven air-conditioned chair car coaches and one air-conditioned executive coach with a total of 596 seats. The first day of operation was a special service, with students, railway officials, and citizens of various cadres travelling on the inaugural service.
Regular services commenced on Sunday (9th April), and with high demand, reservations for the Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Superfast train have already been booked full for a week until 16th April. The fare for travel in the air-conditioned chair car is Rs. 1365/-, which is also fully booked until 16th April, with a waiting list in place. The fare for travel in the air-conditioned executive chair car is fixed at Rs. 2485/-, and reservations for this category are already full until 23rd April!
