Weather: Prospects for medium rain today (5th April) in Tamil Nadu!

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed us that there are prospects of medium rain with thunder in 1 or 2 places in Tamil Nadu today (Wednesday, 5th April).
In a notification released by the Director of the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre, Pa. Senthamaraikkanna, it is mentioned that the prevailing occasion of the easterly and westerly winds meeting each other over the upper layers of the atmosphere over South India may lead to the prospects of medium rain with thunder in 1 or 2 places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikkal today (Wednesday, 5th April).
Furthermore, there are prospects of persistent mild to medium rain for three days from the 6th of April until the 8th of April in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikkal.
Regarding the Chennai Metro City and its suburbs, the sky will remain somewhat cloudy in the next 48 hours, with prospects of mild rain in 1 or 2 places in the city. The maximum temperature will be 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 28 degrees Celsius.
