Chennai-based food startup launches India`s first `manless takeaway` in Kolathur. Bai Veetu Kalyanam or The BVK Biryani serves authentic premium wedding-style biryani cooked with coal and firewood.
The shop, which operates similarly to those found in foreign countries, allows customers to choose from a range of biryanis displayed on four smart screens, each with a different price point.
Once the customer selects their preferred biryani, the price will appear on the screen. Payment can be made using a QR code or an ATM card, and the biryani parcel will be delivered within five minutes.
The automated biryani shop has received an enthusiastic response from the local community, with many praising the quality and taste of the biryani.
