A great welcome for Vande Bharath superfast trains! Decision taken to manufacture 736 Vande Bharath Coached at ICF, Chennai!

There has been a huge positive response from the citizens for the number of Vande Bharath trains, made of the latest technology and superfast, linking various cities in India!
As such, the Railway Administration has decided to increase the manufacture of these Vande Bharath Trains!
As per this decision, 736 Vande Bharath Coaches are to be manufactured in the Financial Year 2023-24 at the Integral Coach Factory, Chennai Metro City.
Integral Coach Factory (ICF), located at Perambur, Chennai Metro City, is a globally famous manufacturer of train coaches! Presently, with the success and the popular welcome of the Vande Bharath trains, the ICF is now enthusiastically focusing on manufacturing more of the Vande Bharat coaches
The first Vande Bharath coach, called as `Rail 18`, was manufactured here. Being the fastest train operating in the country, this train was named `Vande Bharath Train`!
The Central Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav informed last month:
- Railway Administration has decided that apart from the Integral Coach Factory, Perambur, Chennai Metro City, it has been planned to manufacture these Vande Bharath trains at 3 more places – Bareli, Uttar Pradesh, Lathur, Maharashtra, Sonipat, Haryana.
- 2 or 3 Vande Bharath trains will be manufactured per week.
- It has been planned to manufacture Vande Bharath trains with a lodging facility!
