Anna flyover is being beautified – Highways initiative

Anna flyover in Chennai is located in the center of the city and connects the major areas like Nungambakkam, Teyampet, Annasalai and Cathedral road. Now it is in a bad state as it is not maintained properly. This flyover was opened in the year 1975 on July 1st. The length of Anna flyover is 500 meters and it took 21 months to construct it.
Currently , rupees 1 crore is allotted to renovate and beautify this flyover. Highways Department is taking all the steps to change the old look of the flyover. Within 2 months the beautifying project will be completed and authorities have assured this will add more beauty to the city .
