The Greater Chennai Corporation has been undertaking various initiatives to prevent high-level of pollution from being created in the areas of Chennai Metro City on the festival day of Bhogi!
In this situation, the Greater Chennai Corporation has undertaken another important task: TO PREVENT THE TRADITIONAL BURNING OF OLD WASTE ITEMS SUCH AS CLOTHES, TYRES, RUBBER IOTEMS, AND PLASTIC ITEMS BY THE CITIZENS OF THE CHENNAI METRO CITY! ON THE 13TH & 14TH OF JANUARY
As such in all zones of Chennai Metro City from the 1st Zone to the 15th Zone, the citizens are requested to hand over the old waste items in their possessions such as plastic, rubber items and tyres, etc., tomorrow (Sunday, 8th January 2023)!
As a measure to create awareness about this among the citizens, the task of announcing this measure by advertisement on battery-driven 3-wheelers in the city
