What is going on at the Police quarters in Avadi that has come to the light now?

The power supply has been cut in the police quarters and this has affected the families. It is worthy to note that since Monday 100 members belonging to the police families have been protesting vigorously to get back the power supply. Truth is that the police locality has got electricity due of Rs 2.8lakhs. The residents here have pointed out that street lights, lifts and water services were affected.
At Avadi, a ten storey building has 900 police families and the unhappy police families have mentioned that they have paid their electricity bills on time. Point is that the disconnection of electricity in these households was due to unpaid bills for lifts, water and light facilities that come under the general category. On the ground floor, the families gathered and staged a protest. They have condemned the lethargic attitude of the officers in paying the electricity bills. Finally, the efforts of the 100 members bore fruit as police rushed to the spot and assured to provide a solution to the issue.
One protestor explained that the electricity bills are being paid by them on time and it was unfair to punish all for the lethargic attitude of the officers. The officers are responsible for ensuring that the common utility bills get paid on time. The protestor added that without lift it would be highly impossible during an emergency situation.
