Widespread in Chennai this morning!

There has been widespread rain in several parts of Chennai Metro City this morning (Monday, 12th December)!
The cyclone Mandous, after weakening in intensity to be a low-pressure zone, is prevailing over northern Tamil Nadu. As such, the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed us that there are prospects for medium rain for 2 days (12th & 13th December). As per this, it has been raining in several places in Chennai Metro City right from the morning today (Monday, 12th December)!
As there has been intermittent rain in Ambattur, Mylapore, Pattinappakkam and other urban areas, citizens and children were put to hardship to reach their workplaces and school and colleges!
Further, the p[persistent downpour has caused traffic congestion in many areas!
The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects for medium rain in the next 3 hours in 17 districts in Tamil Nadu State including Chennai, Chengalpattu, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Ranippettai, Villupuram and Cuddalore.
