Permission chits for watching the Bharani Deepam and Maha Deepam are to be issued through the internet to the devotees!
To get this permission chit, Aadhar Card, cell phone number and e-mail address are mandatory!
In a notification released in this regard by the Thiruvannamalai District Collector Murugesh, it is mentioned:
In the Karthigai Deepam Festival in progress at the Lord Arunchaleswarar temple in Thiruvannamalai, Bharani Deepam is scheduled to be lit at 4.00 AM on 6th December (Tuesday).
For watching this occasion, 500 permission chits at Rs. 500/- each and for watching the Maha Deepam lighting, 100 permission chits at Rs. 600/- each for a total of 1000 permission chits are set to be issued!
These permission chits would be released through the temple website: https://annamalaiyar.hrce.tn.gov.in with conditions from today (Sunday, 4th December) morning at 10.00 AM!
To get the above permission chit, an Aadhar card, cell phone number and e-mail address are mandatory! One permission chit for each Aadhar card will be given!
Once paying the fare and booking, OTP (One-Time-Password) would be sent to the given cell phone number.
The permission chit can be downloaded for the email received.
The devotes who had downloaded these permission chits ONLINE and visiting for Darshan of Bharani Deepam lighting would be allowed only between 2.00 AM to 3.00 AM pm the morning.
Similarly, the devotees who procured online permission chit from the internet for Maha Deepam will be allowed from 2.30 PM until 3.30 PM only!
The devotees who watch these 2 Deepam Lighting MUST bring the original receipt and Aadhar card and will be allowed as per the timings via Ammani Amman temple tower!
NOTE THAT THE DEVOTEES FAILING TO ARRIVE ON TIME WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO WATCH THE `SEVARTHI`!
These devotees who obtained permission chit for watching Bharani Deepam and Maha Deepam are appealed to extend their whole-hearted cooperation by strictly following the Rules and regulations!
