Surprising info about the revenue generated by TN Govt through special buses for this deepavali?

For the deepavali festival, lots of people have gone to their native places or hometowns through special buses to celebrate the festival with their families and friends etc. Now, the TN Govt has released information about the revenue that has been generated by special buses.
It is known that lakhs of people travelled from Chennai to their hometowns in TN for deepavali on Saturday, Sunday and Monday due to succession of holidays. Many special buses were operated from Chennai to transport these people. For 3 days, a total of 10518 buses transported the people from chennai to their native places and 6370 special buses from other places transported many. In all, 16888 buses transported the people to their natives for the festival.
As per the statement from the transport corporation it was confirmed that for the deepavali festival a total revenue of Rs 9.5 crores has been generated from special buses for the government.
