AirAsia’s Travel Fair & Cabin Crew Recruitment at Madras Market, Chennai

Chennai, 8th August, 2013 – AirAsia, the title sponsor of Madras Market Season II will be holding one of the most awaited travel fair at Wesley Grounds, Chennai for two days from 10th – 11th August, 2013.where visitors are able to grab 20% discounts on select AirAsia flights to Malaysia and Thailand
In addition, Aspiring flight attendants are invited to AirAsia India’s walk-in interview which will be held on 10th August 2013 at Madras Market , Wesely Grounds, Chennai from 11am – 2pm and the shortlisted candidates will be called on 11th August,2013 at Wesely Ground, Madras Market .
Among the flights that will be available are from Chennai - Kuala Lumpur with return all-inclusive return fares from as low as Rs 10,444 and from Chennai - Bangkok all-inclusive-return fares from Rs 8,444. The special 20% discount is also available on select domestic flights within Malaysia and Thailand as well as select flights on our low-cost long-haul affiliate AirAsia X to Australia, China, Japan, Taiwan and Korea.
Guests will be able to book these special discounted flights on-the-spot at Wesley Grounds, opposite Woodlands Theatre, Royapettah throughout the 2-day fair from 10th – 11th August, and travel immediately from 20thAugust – 31st October 2013. The travel fair will be from 11 am - 7 pm.Madras Market is a one stop destination for families to shop, eat a variety of foods, enjoy rock concerts and other fun activities at the same time, under one roof. Guests will also be able to book value-added services such as hot meals, check-in baggage allocations, travel insurance, seat selection and more at the travel fair.
Male and female flight attendant candidates must be between 20 to 35 years old, possess the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and fluent in oral and written English, plus local language.
Experienced flight attendants or fresh graduates of any discipline are also welcomed. Height requirements are 160cm minimum / 170cm maximum barefooted for female candidates, while for male candidates it is min. 170cm / max. 180cm barefooted. Applicants need to bring along a completed application form (downloadable at http://www.airasia.com/FA-application/form.html), recent resume, original and copies of ID & passport, original and copies of education certificate, one recent passport-sized colour photograph and one recent full-body colour photograph (postcard size). All candidates must be dressed in business attire for the walk-in interview. For female candidates, they are required to wear knee-length skirts with full make up.
