Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) undertakes the responsibility for the recruitment of the various vacancies for different posts in the departments/undertakings of the State Government of Tamil Nadu, right from advertising for the posts, scrutiny of applications, conducting written examinations where required, interviews and selection.
In this regard, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has recently advertised for the recruitment of different vacant posts including Fisheries Department Researcher in the Department of Fisheries of the State Government of Tamil Nadu.
The selection will be done on the computer. TNPSC has informed us that the last date for applying for this selection is 11th November and the candidates must visit the websites: http://www.tnpsc.gov.in/ OR http://www.tnpscexams.in AND APPLY ONLINE!
The candidates may carry out any corrections in their applications, if required, from 17th November till 19th November.
The last date for the applicants to upload their certificates/documents again is 27th January 2023.
Computer-based examination is scheduled on 8th February 2023. In 2 shifts. Paper-1 will be from 9.00 AM until 12.30 PM m, and Paper-2 will be from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM.
Age Limit:
Note that the Candidates belonging to the special cadre of Adi Dravida, Arundhathiyar, ancient tribes, backward communities, backward Communities (Muslims), Most Backward Communities, and destitute widows HAVE NO AGE LIMITS!
For other cadres, candidates MUST be under 32 years of age as of 1st July 2022!
Academic Qualifications:
Candidates MUST be graduates in Fishery Technology and related subjects from Institutes or Universities approved by the Tamil Nadu State Technology Commission. Otherwise, candidates MUST be graduates in Science courses with Zoology as the elective subject OR candidates MUST be in Fisheries Science.
Fees:
- Registration Fee: Rs. 150/-
- Examination Fee: Rs. 200/-
Candidates belonging to Adi Dravidar, Arundhathiyar, Ancient Tribes, and Destitute Widows ARE EXEMPTED FROM THE FEES!
Most Backward tribes, Seermarabinar, and Backward Tribes other than Muslims need not pay fees 3 times. Ex-military personnel need not pay 2 times.
