Merit list released for Graduate Medical courses: Counselling from Wednesday 19th October!

The merit list for the graduate medical course of MBBS and BDS has been released today (Monday, 17th October).
For joining the graduate Medical Courses of MBBS & BDS in the academic year 2022-23, the procedure for applying ONLINE was in progress until 6th October. 22643 candidates have been selected for the Government quota and 13457 students were admitted under the administration quota, making up for a total of 36100 candidates given seats for admission!
The scrutiny of the received applications has been completed. Subsequently, the merit list for the graduate MBBS and BDS Courses under the government quota, administration quota, and 7.5% government school student`s quota was released today (Monday, 17th October) by the Tamil Nadu State Government Minister for Health, M. Subramanian at the Omandurar Government Multi-Specialty Hospital in Chennai Metro City Anna Saalai.
Tamil Nadu Government Health Minister shared a session with the press after the event: "2695 applications were received from students to join graduate Medical Courses under the 7.5% quota for the students from Government Schools. There are 454 seats available for the MBBS course and 104 seats available for the BDS course under this 7.5% quota for government school students. The counselling for the MBBS and BDS courses commences the day after tomorrow, 19th October (Wednesday).
Counselling for the special cadre candidates is scheduled on the 19th & 20th of October. On the 20th of October morning, the seats under the 7.5% Special quota for government high school students will be filled. The results of the first round of counselling will be announced on 3oth October!"
