Academic Fees in Private Medical Colleges increased!

The academic fees for the graduate medical course of MBBS have been increased in private medical colleges!

It has been announced that this increase in fees will be implemented in the current academic year!

There are 3050 seats available in 20 private medical colleges in Tamil Nadu for the course of MBBS. Out of these, 1610 seats are under the government quota. There are 20 private dental colleges in Tamil Nadu with 1960 seats. Out of these, 1254 seats are for the State Government quota. The balance is for the administration quota.

In this situation, the academic fees for the seats under the government quota have been increased from Rs. 4 Lakhs to Rs. 4.50 Lakhs! For seats under the administration quota, the fee has been raised from 12.50 Lakhs to Rs. 13.50 Lakhs.

For foreign-resident Indians, the fee has been increased from Rs. 23.50 Lakhs to Rs. 24.50 Lakhs.

In the medical universities, the fees for MBBS Courses under the government quota have been increased to Rs. 5.40 Lakhs and for administration quotes, it has been increased to 16.20 Lakhs. For foreign-resident Indian students, the fee has been increased to 29.40 Lakhs.

Similarly, the fee for the Dental graduate Course BDS has also been increased!
