The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects for medium rain in the next 3 hours in 26 districts of the State of Tamil Nadu.
The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that due to the cyclonic format prevailing in the upper layers of the atmosphere, there are prospects for rain with lightning and thunder in several districts of the State of Tamil Nadu today (Tuesday, 11th October).
As per this, there are prospects for medium rain in 26 districts including Chennai, Chengalpattu, Thiruvallur, Ranippettai, Thirupathur, Vellore, Nilgiri, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Namakkal, Trichy, and Ariyalur.
As regards Chennai Metro City, the sky will remain somewhat cloudy. There are prospects for rain with lightning and thunder in 1 or 2 places in the city.
