Know about the centralised online monitoring system in the schools in TN for bringing transparency in education?

In as many as in the 10 districts belonging to Tamil Nadu, the government has established model schools to improve the educationally backward blocks in the state is well known.
It must be taken into account that these residential schools would provide opportunities to the children who have the desire and ability to join the institutes of eminence in India. Now, to enhance the efficient management of the functioning of these model schools in TN the state government has decided to develop a centralized online monitoring system to bring transparency in the educational activities. In this regard, in the future, a high tech mobile application would be launched and the app would be assessed by all the stakeholders from anywhere at any time.
Features of the model schools:
Point is that the model schools would offer quality academic inputs by serving teachers as well as by external experts like professors from popular educational institutions like IITs and IISc etc.
To streamline the process of model schools, to ease the coordination among multiple stakeholders, to save time, to bring transparency to the system, a mobile application is envisaged for the model schools. This was as per a senior officer belonging to the school education department.
He threw light on how the mobile app would be assessed by all the stakeholders from anywhere and at any time. Point is that the proposed solution would be very effective due to the cut down in the reporting time and better quality of reports with images and videos etc and GPS location information etc.
The senior officer later pointed out that the online monitoring system would also ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency of the information etc. There would not only be improvement in the quality of scheme implementation but also improvement in the reports quality.
It is learnt that with the new system real time monitoring of the several activities including academic and co-scholastic, with captured images, videos and pictures etc would be carried out.
The online system would also have the digital database of all the activities of the model schools in TN and management information system, general dash-board, graphical representation of various reports.
