Passport applications: New Procedure to obtain ‘No Objection’ Certificate from the Police Department!

An official shared that a new system has been introduced to obtain the `No Objection Certificate from the Police Department while applying for a passport.
To repeat, on behalf of the Central External Affairs Ministry, to simplify and help the citizens, the system to obtain a `No Objection Certificate from the Police Department has been simplified.
With this simplified procedure, the applicants can apply ONLINE at the Passport Service Centres in Post Offices to obtain the Police department`s `No Objection Certificate! This system comes into effect from tomorrow (Wednesday, 28th December).
This new system, to be introduced in the Passport Service Centres in Post Offices, will not guarantee the applicant for education abroad or jobs abroad!
The official shared further: "This system WILL HELP ONLY ON THE ISSUE OF `NO OBJECTION` CERTIFICATE FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF POLICE AND OTHER CERTIFICATES FOR THE ISSUE OF PASSPORT!"
