Grievance address meeting for PDS for September on 10th September in Chennai!

The Commissioner of Food Items Distribution and Consumer Safety has informed that the monthly Grievance Address Meeting for the Public Distribution Scheme (PDS) for September is scheduled to be conducted on 10th September from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM in Chennai Metro City in the Offices of the Zonal Assistant Commissioner Offices.
In a notification released in this regard by the commissioner, it is mentioned:
"The State Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that for the common citizen to easily access the services of the Public Distribution System (PDS), a Grievance Address meeting will be conducted in each circle throughout Tamil Nadu every month!
Accordingly, for September 2022, the Grievance Address Meeting is scheduled to be conducted in Chennai Metro City in the 19 Offices of the Assistant Commissioners on 10th September from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM.
Services such as addition or removal of names in the ration cards, change of address, change of cell phone number, and registration for the issue of a new ration card or a copy of the ration card, etc., will be undertaken in this Grievance Address Meeting.
Further, for the senior citizens who cannot visit the PDS Ration Shops, a certificate will be given accordingly.
Moreover, if the participants in this Grievance Address Meeting submit or share their observations/comments/suggestions regarding the operation of the Public Distribution System and also the functioning of the privates market, IMMEDIATE ACTION WILL BE TAKEN TO ADDRESS THE GRIEVANCE OR REMARK!
AN APPEAL IS MADE HEREBY FOR THE RESIDENT RATION CARD HOLDING CITIZENS OF THE 19 ZONAL OFFICES TO AVAIL THIS IMPORTANT OPPORTUNITY!"
