3.15 Lakh Candidates apply for Group-1 TNPSC Examinations!

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) undertakes all the recruitment requirements of the State Government Departments and industries and conducts various examinations for different cadres and interviews, etc. Recently, TNPSC announced the examinations for the Group-1 cadre vacancies,
TNPSC has informed us that 316678 candidates have applied for the Group-1 Posts.
The Preliminary examination for Group-1 vacant posts is scheduled to be conducted on 30th October. 316678 candidates have applied!
This was announced by TNPSC after the time limit set for application for Group-1 Posts expired!
92 different posts are vacant under the Group-1 category, including 18 Assistant Collectors, 26 Deputy Superintendents of Police, 25 Commercial Tax Assistant Commissioners, 13 Assistant Registrars for the Cooperative Unions, and 3 District Employment Registration Officers for a total of 92 vacant posts.
The preliminary examination for this Group-1 post to fill up the vacancies is scheduled on 30th October!
Opportunity is given for carrying out any corrections required in the application forms from Midnight 12.01 on 27th August until 11.59 PM on 29th August!
