Anna University announces the introduction of 5 new subjects for graduate engineering courses!

Anna University has released an announcement on the new syllabus / subjects of specialization for the graduate engineering courses!
Earlier, a detailed review was undertaken regarding the new syllabus for specialization.
As such, Anna University has informed that changes are being carried out on the graduate engineering courses AFTER A GAP OF 20 YEARS and with this, the individual skill levels of the students will increase while there will be better job opportunities!
It is informed that the new syllabus is introduced with the main objectives:
- Preparing the students to answer the industry needs
- Encouraging the students to undertake research activities
- Bringing out the latent talents/skills of the average-performing students
As such, Anna University has announced that the changed syllabus is being introduced in this academic year itself!
5 New Subjects are being introduced in the first 3 semesters of the graduate engineering courses – Tamil Traditions, Scientific Tamil, Industrial Growth, English Lab, and Communication Lab or Foreign Language.
In the first of this implementation, the new subjects have been introduced for the 2nd year students of the graduate engineering courses.
