This sleeping pod facility named Sleepzo would be tremendous for many passengers who arrive at the Chennai airport. The transit passengers waiting to get the connecting flights at the airport would be benefited by this 4 bed sized capsules. The passengers could get the much needed short rest in the airport.
It is a fact that frequent flyers look out for a hotel near the airport to rest. Since the waiting time of the transit flight would be less, most of time staying out in a hotel near to airport might not be possible. Various amenities that are present at the sleeping pods are reading lights, charging stations, USB charger, luggage space, ambient light and blower control and a plus bed etc.
This sleeping pod facility could be availed by the transit passengers on hourly basis. An adult and a kid under 21 years could be accommodated in each capsule. At the airport, the Sleepzo was inaugurated by the airport director Dr. Sharad Kumar.
