Information is gathered that 34 Lakh candidates are about to be selected to qualify for the monthly assistance of Rs. 1000/-!

The State Government of Tamil Nadu offers the Rice-Ration-Card-Holders welfare features such as Pongal Gift Packs and coronavirus Relief. In this, there are government employees, financially well-equipped, citizens who have their own houses, etc., making up for a total of over 40 Lakh citizens!
As such, the scheme of monthly assistance of Rs. 1000/- cannot be extended to all the Rice-Ration-Card-holders.
Data is collected about the various cadres of families/citizens who get monthly senior citizen assistance, agricultural financial assistance, and other central government and State Government Welfare schemes for families/citizens living below the poverty line, etc.
The Central Government selects the beneficiaries for the various welfare schemes under the Free Gas Connection Scheme. To provide the subsidy for the domestic LPG Cooking gas cylinder price, the personal details of the users such as names, saving accounts in the banks, etc., are already available to the various Oil Corporations.
In Tamil Nadu, 35.41 citizens have got free LPG domestic cooking gas cylinders! So, to select the candidates for the monthly assistance of Rs. 1000/-, the details of the free LPG Cooking gas connection holders and the possibility to include them are being explored in the First Phase of this project!
Once all the candidates eligible are identified, this monthly assistance scheme of Rs. 1000 for the household women-leaders will be implemented!
