Anna University sends Notices to Engineering Colleges on the absence of basic infrastructure and shortage of professors!

Anna University has sent a notice to the 225 Engineering Colleges in the State of Tamil Nadu!

In this notice, Anna University has sacked for explanations regarding the lack of at least the basic infrastructure facilities and the lack of the required Professors in different departments!

Anna University undertook the scrutiny of 476 engineering colleges! Out of this, it has sent the notice asking for the above-mentioned explanations to 225 colleges regarding the lack of basic infrastructures and the absence of professors in various faculties!

Further, Anna University has mentioned in this notice that these shortfalls must be attended to and rectified within 2 weeks and only then, approval will be given for functioning in the new academic year!  In case no explanation is submitted to the above notice, the approval for running the college will NOT be given as will no admission for new students!

Meanwhile, the Tamil Nadu Engineering Students Admission Council has informed that so far, over 143313 candidates have applied for admission to the B. E., and B. Tech. Courses and that over 96759 candidates have paid the fees. 65171 candidates have uploaded their documents/certificates!
