A general Announcement No. 3/2022 released by the Central Ground Water Authority functioning under the central Ministry of Jal Shakthi mentions:
FOR THE ATTENTION OF ALL the users of groundwater sources including swimming pools, mining projects, developers of the infrastructure of construction, Industrial users, Wholesale water suppliers, urban government agencies which supply water, Group Housing Societies, household water usage in multi-storeyed apartments,
The present users as listed and above and new users of groundwater resources MUST GET AN APPROVAL from the Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA) before using or taking groundwater before 30th June 2022!
The filled application form usage of groundwater with an application Fee of Rs. 10000/- for registration.
This is an opportunity to give to all groundwater resource users by the CGWA.
In case groundwater resources are being used WITHOUT THE NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE FROM CGWA, PLEASE NOTE THAT IMMEDIATE STRINGENT LEGAL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN!
Using the groundwater resources without permission is against the Law!
