A large percentage of vehicle owners fail to arrange the parking space for their vehicle and park in the wrong areas! Occupying roads! This leads to congestion in traffic and creates other problems too!
Another negative aspect of this illegal parking is that it leads to many accidents too!!
As such, it is learnt that a new legal Act is going to be passed to award cash prizes for the citizens who click the vehicles wrongly parked and send the same to the traffic police!
In an event performed in this regard yesterday (Thursday, 16th June) in New Delhi, the Central Transport Minister C V Gadkari shared:
“I am bringing in a new legal Act shortly! As per this, the citizens who click the wrongly parked vehicles on the roads and send them to traffic will be given a cash prize of Rs. 500/-!! Besides, the offender will be charged a penalty of Rs. 1000/-!!
This new rule, when implemented will bring this nuisance of wrongly parked vehicles to an end!!”
