Superb news!! TN government school students to get Rs 1000 per month!!

A scheme that would provide tremendous benefits for around 6lakh school going girl students in TN is making sensational news now!!
An amount of Rs 1000 would be issued to the government school girl students in Tamil Nadu and for that the name of the beneficiaries is being collected now by the state government.
It is now said that all girl students belonging to classes 6 to 12 would be paid an amount of RS 1000 directly to their bank accounts till the completion of their UG courses, diploma and ITI courses etc. The amount would be provided for the girl students under Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Higher Education Assurance Scheme.
This scheme would come into effect from this upcoming academic year onwards and this was mentioned by a senior officer belonging to the department of higher education. Point is that beneficiaries’ details have been sought from the state run and self-financing arts, sciences, engineering, polytechnic and vocational colleges etc. A huge amount of Rs 698 crores has been allotted for this scheme and those students in the colleges would be made aware so that the amount could reach many students.
Instructions would be given to all the college principals to include every single name of the girl students under the superb scheme of the government. Once the beneficiaries have been identified, then the authorities would check whether these beneficiaries have a bank account. There would be cross verification done with students list to avoid irregularities and it would be uploaded too.
A formal inaugural programme of the scheme would take place after the finalisation of the beneficiaries list. The senior officer concluded that additional one lakh girl students would be coming forward to be part of this scheme. The important piece of information is that depending on the number of beneficiaries the funds allocation would be increased next year.
