Super Attractive concessional offer: Incentive for the citizens who pay the Property Tax before 15th April!

The Greater Chennai Corporation Administration has announced that the citizens owning properties pay the Property Tax before 15th April, an incentive of 5% of the Tax Paid will be given as incentive.
At the same time. GCC has informed that in case of failure to pay the Property Tax before 15th April, a 2% fine will be imposed and the payment has to be made with the fine!
GCC has further informed that the property-owning citizens may pay the Property Tax at the same rate at which they have been paying and after the revaluation of the proposed additional tax and the new rates will be announced after that and a detailed announcement will be made regarding the same!
Property Tax may be paid in the E-service Centres in the Regional and Ward Offices, or using the App ‘Namma Chennai’, Paytm, or credit OR debit cards and also to the Greater Chennai Corporation Tax Collector or the Property Analyst.
As regards the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC), the recommendation of the Review Council will be presented and get approved and then only implemented.
SO, PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PAYMENT OF PROPERTY TAX FOR THE YEAR 2022 - 2023 FIRST HALF WILL BE AS PER THE RATE PAID EARLIER AND THIS HAS TO BE PAID BEFORE 15TH APRIL!
