Greater Chennai Corporation Commissioner: Property Tax and Professional Tax MUST be paid before tomorrow - 31st March!

The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) Commissioner Gagandeep Singh Bedi has announced that the Property Tax and the Professional Tax to be paid to GCC must be done before tomorrow (31st March Financial Year Closing Day).
In a notification released in this regard, he has mentioned:
The revenue earned by the Greater Chennai CForporation such as the Property Tax and the Professional Tax is the most important avenues of financial income for GCC.
So far, 818451 property owners have paid the property tax and 80406 citizens have paid the professional tax.
Greater Chennai Corporation has undertaken several initiatives to make public and property owners aware of the payment of Property Tax and Professional Tax while simplifying the procedure to pay these taxes!
As such, arrangements have been made to facilitate the Professional Tax and the Property Tax due to be paid to the Greater Chennai Corporation to the Zonal Offices of GCC, Ward Offices, Internet, and the Mobile App and also the GCC Tax Collection Employees.
As such, while paying the Property Tax and Professional Tax to the Greater Chennai Corporation through Internet or Mobile App, in case any difficulties are encountered, the TaxPayers can directly contact 1913 and register the complaint based on which corrective action will be taken.
So, the property owners residing in the areas under the jurisdiction of the Greater Chennai Corporation MUST PAY THE PROPERTY TAX AND THE PROFESSIONAL TAX BEFORE 31ST MARCH!
