Tamil Nadu State Government: Self-Volunteers to help Haj pilgrims may apply before 23rd February!

The State Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that the citizens interested to be self-volunteers to help the Haj Pilgrims may apply before 23rd February.
In this regard, the Chief Secretary of the Department of the Development of Backward Community, Most Backward Community, and Minorities Welfare has released a notification.
“It has been an annual tradition to send self-volunteers to help the Haj Pilgrims travelling to Saudi Arabia. This year (Haj 2022), Indian Haj Committee in Mumbai has released a notification - Circular (Circular Number 9) on the website – www.hajcommittee.gov.in - regarding the selection of self-volunteers to help the Haj Pilgrims.
The details of the rules and regulations for the selection of self-volunteers can be accessed from Circular#9 released in this regard.
The government employees or the employees with Government –aided organisations who are interested in travelling as self-volunteers will have to apply ONLINE: www.hajcommittee.gov.in
The application forms downloaded and duly filled by the self-volunteering candidates must then be submitted through the respective Departmental Heads with the copies of the requisite certificates/documents before23rd February to the following address:
