Tamil Nadu Government Announcement for outstation travel bus passengers regarding food!

Recently, following the complaints received in this regard, State Transport Corporation Buses were NOT Allowed to stop at 5 restaurants in Vikravandi, Villupuram.
A large number of complaints were received that just like the above-mentioned 5 restaurants; low-quality food was being served at several restaurants. In this situation, the Department of Transport of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has ordered that the buses MUST STOP ONLY AT SPECIFIED RESTAURANTS.
In the order released in this regard, it is mentioned:
“It is traditionally followed the routine for the long-distance travel buses operated by the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation to stop at certain specific restaurants for the passengers and also for the passengers to answer nature’s relief calls.
As such, a large number of complaints was received regarding the poor quality of the food served at the restaurants where these buses stopped. Following this, the Department of Transport of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has released a New Order!
The buses from Chennai Metro City proceeding to Coimbatore, Thirunelveli, Sengottai, Nagercoil, and Kanyakumari will be allowed to stop at Prasanna Bhavan for the passengers.
Further, the buses proceeding to Salem, Dindigul, and Karaikkudi from Chennai Metro City will be allowed to stop at Vasantha Bhavan for the passengers to eat!
Meanwhile, for the passengers who are travelling to arrive at Chennai Metro City, the buses will stop at Sri Balaji Aryas’ Restaurant located between Ulundhurpettai and Villupuram.
As such, it has been strictly instructed that the buses MUST strictly follow this new order stopping the bus for the passengers without any complaints.
Further, all the drivers and conductors and the Branch Managers have been strictly instructed that the details of the operation of the buses, the stopping at the restaurant MUST be conveyed through WhatsApp.
