What took place that caught the attention during the direct physical classes for the school students in TN?

The direct physical classes for the students studying in the classes 1 to 12 began in Tamil Nadu yesterday. The students were given welcome by many schools with many safety measures.
In the Ambattur based Government Girls Higher Secondary School, over 77percent belonging to classes 6 to 12 came to the school again. It was later mentioned by head mistress of this Ambattur based school, Vanitha Rani that thermal scanners were used at all entry as well as exit points in the school. Teachers checked the temperatures of the students at these points. They also provided hand sanitizers to the students. It is learnt that the breaks and lunch were phased out for the students and the main purpose of this was to over overcrowding. No crowding was allowed in the corridors in the schools and for this faculty members went on periodic rounds. These faculty members ensured that the students wore face masks and maintained physical distancing.
As per some officials belonging to the school education department, turnout of the students at the schools in Trichy was encouraging. On the first day, the students were made to get used to the classroom environment. Mr. Balamurali, chief educational officer, Trichy hinted that teaching -learning activity would pick up gradually.
In many south based districts in Tamil Nadu, the students showed huge interest to attend direct physical classes at their schools.The students came in full strength and this was mentioned by a teacher belonging to Ramanathapuram based middle school. The students of Tirunelveli based Sarah Tucker School were very happy to be back in their schools. It was confirmed by some officials belonging to the school education department that just 57.2% students attended the schools in the Coimbatore district in Tamil Nadu. Point is that the attendance in the schools would improve slowly in the coming days.
