100% Lockdown tomorrow Sunday 9th January: the teeming crowd at Kasimedu to buy fish!

Though 100% lockdown has been annou8nced by the State Government of Tamil Nadu on all Sundays, it has permitted the meat and fish sales outlets!
Even then, the non-vegetarian public started gathering in huge numbers in Kasimedu today (Saturday, 8th January) right from the early morning!
This has led to the anxiety of whether these large public gatherings will not lead to a drastic increase in the spreading of the third wave of the coronavirus!
At the same time, regular announcements are being made with speakers in the market appealing to the buying public to wear face masks as well as observing the social distancing.
