Detailed information of the trains that would be operating in Tamil Nadu from now on!!

Starting from 18th of December, there will be resumption of Ajmer- Rameswaram express train services again. The railway board has given its approval already.
It was mentioned by the Madurai railway division that train number 20973 from Ajmer to Rameswaram would leave Ajmer at 8:10 pm on Saturdays and would reach Rameswaram at 9 pm on Mondays. In the same way, train number 20974 Rameswaram-Ajmer Train would leave Rameswaram at 10:30 pm on Tuesdays and would reach Ajmer at 11:05pm on Thursdays.
Various places the train would stop in Tamil Nadu are Manamadurai, Trichy, Ariyalur, Villupuram, Chengalpet and Chennai Egmore. On 16th December, the reservation for the train would start at 8am. It is learnt that train number 16731/16732 that were announced earlier between Pollachi and Thiruchendur would now operate from Palakkad Junction and Thiruchendur.
Starting Thursday 16th December, train number 16732 Tiruchendur –Palakkad Junction unreserved daily express train would leave at 12:05pm and it would reach Palakkad Junction on the same day at 10:30 pm. It is worthy to mention that in the return direction train number 16731 would leave Palakkad Junction at 4:55am starting Friday, 17th December and it would reach Tiruchendur on the same day at 3:45pm.
Various stations the train would stop are Kayalpattinam, Arumuganeri, Kurmbur, Katchana Vilai, Nazareth, Alwarthirunagari, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli, Thalaiyuthu, Vanchi Maniyachi, Kadambur, Kovilpatti, Sattur, Virudhunagar Junction, Tirumangalm, Thiruparankundram, Madurai Junction, Sholavandan, Kodaikanal Road, Ambaturai, Dindigul, Oddanchatram, Palani, Udumalapipettai, Gomangalam, Pollachi junction,Meenatchipuram, Muthalamada,Kollengode,Pudunagaram and Palakkad Town. It must be noted that train number 06761/06762 is canceled from Thursday onwards.
