The government as well as private banks have been offering many offers for the sake of their customer’s wellbeing are well known to us. One of the most important offers is the accidental insurance that is offered by the banks and with certain conditions the banks offer accidental insurance to its customers.
Punjab National bank or PNB is a famous and largest public sector bank in India and it offers Rs 20 lakhs as accidental insurance to its customers. It is now said that those persons who work in some company and want to open a new bank account then the person would be able to start a payroll account in PNB.
Point is that this is a zero balance account and there would be no issues regarding the minimum amount. It is superb to note that even if there is no minimum balance available in the account then penalty would not be levied on the customers. The customers would have various benefits like accident insurance over draft etc. It is said that not only accident insurance but overdraft facility would also be available for the customers in this bank account.
There are 4 divisions in this account namely
Silver plan for those whose monthly salary is from Rs 10000 to Rs 25000
Gold plan for those with monthly salary from Rs 25001 to Rs 75000
Premium plan for those whose monthly salary is from Rs 75000 to Rs 1.50 lakhs
Platinum plan for those whose salary is more than Rs 1.50 lakhs.
Information is that in the silver plan category an overdraft up to of Rs 50000 could be taken. Likewise, in the Gold plan category an overdraft up to Rs 1.50 lakhs could be taken. Up to Rs 2.25 lakhs in the premium category and up to Rs 3 lakhs in the Platinum category could be taken.
