Today (30th November) is the last day for the addition/removal of names in the Voters List!

The time limit given for the activity of the inclusion/removal/correction of names in the voters` list concludes today (Tuesday, 30th November).
As such, 9.44 Lakhs citizens have applied for inclusion of names in the voters` list.
Time duration from 1st November had been given to carry out the addition/deletion of names in the voters` list. Arrangements were made to include new citizens in the voter`s list who would be completing 18 years of age as of 1st January 2022.
Further, special camps were organised on Sundays to undertake the activities of addition/deletion/correction of names in the voter`s list. The timeline for these activities concludes today - the last day - Tuesday, 30th November.
The total number of applications received so far:
944026 applications have been received so far for the inclusion of names in the voters` list.
For deletion (removal) of names in the voter`s list, 220034 applications have been received.
150919 applications have been received for correction in the names.
1121609 applications have been received requesting the name to be changed from one ward to another.
10 foreign resident Indian citizens have applied for inclusion of names in the voter`s list.
In total, 1427598 applications have been submitted to the Election Commission Department.
The election commission officials informed that these applications will be reviewed verified and the necessary action will be carried out for the inclusion of names in the voters` list.
