Chief Minister Stalin inaugurates - monsoon rainy season special medical camp!

As a preventive measure that the last few days’ heavy rains in Chennai Metro City should not cause the spread of any diseases to the public, a decision was taken today (Friday, 12th November) to organise a special medical camp.
As per this, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin inaugurated the first monsoon rainy season special medical camp in Alwarpet, Chennai Metro City today (Friday, 12th November).
This special medical camp is being organised in all the 200 wards under the jurisdiction of the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC).
As the monsoon seasonal rain persists, this special medical camp is organised as a preventive measure to prevent the spread of various diseases!
The persistent heavy continuous downpour in Chennai Metro City caused by the depression zone formed in the Bay of Bengal has flooded the entire Chennai Metro City!
The downpour water entered all the low-lying areas in the city as well as the subways, street corners and the main roads as well! The floodwater had converted the residential apartments into islands completely isolated!
It was a case of ‘water! Water! Everywhere!’ in Chennai Metro City! Greater Chennai Corporation has expedited and conducted the task of removing the stagnant water. Besides, CMWSSB *Chennai Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Fire Fighting and several other department officials and staff are deployed in this activity in full swing! The floodwater is being removed operating through electric pumps!
