Threat of COVID spread in Chennai due to this reason now!!

Chennai is a big city with a huge population and the youngsters in Chennai always want to be outside their homes!!
It is learnt that many youngsters and others spend their time at the playgrounds across Chennai during the weekends and they do not wear facemasks and maintain social distance etc. This has not gone down well with the GCC officials now. The officials of the Chennai Corporation have warned about the spread of Covid-19 infection in Chennai city due to the irresponsible nature of the youngsters.
Point is that the majority of these youngsters are below the age of 18 and not yet vaccinated for Coronavirus infection. These youngsters could spread the infection to others. This was as per a zonal level officer belonging to GCC.
Information is that the playgrounds have been given permission to be open for a few hours in the day but on the weekends many use these grounds throughout the day.
