This Chennai girl is making many heads turn with her sensational feat!!

She lives in Kannagi Nagar in Chennai. She is just 17 years of age and is from a difficult background. She can twirl a silambam stick and sword easily. At her age, when most other kids would be busy studying or spending time with friends etc, she has been sensational creating records and winning gold medals etc.
We are now talking about the 17 year old S. Roshini who has made many to sit up and take notice of her talents. It is not often a girl handles kambu, kaththi, eeti and theepantham etc with amazing ease. Roshini is different and bold.
It is worth mentioning that Roshini won gold medals in silambam at the Youth Games Federation of India that took place in New Delhi. Roshini caught the attention of many when she performed under silambam single stick and silambam weapon categories. For a minute and half, she twirled the silambam stick and sword.
Truth is that her stance, speed, way of performing, face reaction and stamina impressed judges. Not only in sports but also in academics too, Roshni has been doing superbly. This student belonging to class12 of Thoraipakkam Government Higher Secondary School has now started coaching for boxing also. Roshini spoke her heart out and said her mother played a huge role in her sports career and supported her totally. It was later mentioned by her masters Mr. M. Ayyanar and Mr, M. Shankar that this year not many of their students took part in the national levels and lack of sponsors was the reason.
